Service Issue Area
Disaster Type
Build platforms and composting Energy Conservation stations; install water catchment and gray water systems; build and maintain gardens. Plant trees; remove invasive Environmental Stewardship and Conservation species; construct new trail; repair flood-damaged trail; improve picnic areas; lead volunteers. Remove invasive plants, spread Environmental Stewardship and Conservation mulch, build garden boxes, and care for trees. Maintain trails and playground equipment. Assist with public events, conduct volunteer outreach, lead volunteers, and plan/implement service day events.
MITIGATION
Provide tax assistance for low income residents; support senior center and afterschool programs. Members will perform fuel reduction, trail construction, and invasive species removal. Perform fuel reduction to protect the Camp; build access trails; build a log seating area to be used as an educational resource; and renovate cabins. Sort and inventory food, tutor children, and support volunteer and outreach programs. Assist with island maintenance projects, trail construction, and wildfire prevention. Complete finish work on 5 houses; support ReStore; lead volunteers.

Prepare taxes and provide public assistance for Native American and rural communities. Restore native oak groves and wetland areas, build new trails, and maintain trail systems. Tutor and mentor children in math and reading, help with recess and afterschool programming. Team will focus on reducing the fuel load on the newly acquired 500 acres of land. Construct affordable homes Assist with a variety of environmental projects in and around the San Diego River Park area. Remove non-native species; plant native trees; clean and paint camp facilities; prepare for disasters
