For the Donahues, Anna Maria Island is an integral part of their family story. The extended family vacations on the island and Island Photography has captured milestones and memories for the generations of visiting Donahues. It was only fitting when Kyle proposed to Caitlin on a breathtakingly beautiful day, Island Photography was there to photograph Caitlin’s surprise and ecstatic “Yes!”. For their wedding, not only did they want Island Photography to capture the day, they wanted to highlight their love of place. The couple set out to traverse the island creating new memories on their journey. From getting ready photos at the Tortuga Beach Inn Resort, with its old Florida feel, to the historic Rod and Reel Pier, to familiar beach paths and a trip to the City Jail, famous for its “no windows, no bars, no roof,” the couple shared their love for each other and Anna Maria Island.
