personal development This project meant to give a new feeling to the Mercedes Benz brand looking at the DNA of their design and deliver a new face for it. The front is soft but sharp at the same time, which makes you feel the power and the elegance of the brand. (March, 2014)

STEERING WHEEL
3d workshop ALIAS This exercise was to re-think the steering wheel with the theme “Terra� (earth), so I focused on creating one for an off-road. The most importat feature of this steering wheel is the pulse analyzer, activating the 4x4 traction when your adrenaline levels go up. The materials are bamboo fiber, alluminium, and plexiglass. I designed these front and back lights during a employee Cesar Muntada. Inspired by the idea of “supremacy” I worked with the use of OLED torches on carbon fiber to create a sense of speed and victory; it features an air intake in the center around itself. (October, 2013)

DUCATI - RAZORBLADE
personal development This project was aimed to make a new generation of Ducati motorbikes, combining their characteristic sportive design with a tough and resilient touch. The sharp lines give the shape a sophisticated and strong look, reason behind the name “Ducati Razorblade�. (April, 2014)

HOT WHEELS - F1 VISION
3 days workshop Given the freedom that the Hot Wheels platforms provided me with I designed this concept inspired by the lines of a fighter plane combined with an F1 car, and the balance of a Segway. Using a playful and eye-catching color scheme to contrast with the matte tones of certain materials to achieve a look on par with some of Hot Wheels best concepts. (April, 2014)

Having in mind not only a conventional Milanese business man, but also one that is sportive, during the pre-design stages we got inspired by the aerodynamics of aviation, while looking ahead at the prospect of what the future in design might be; like the use of reflective surfaces and the tandem allocated seats used in fighter jets. politecnico di milano After a several attempts i concluded on a final design concept that meets all the requirements and has the aesthetics I was aiming for, being both aerodynamic and pleasing, sophisticated and sportive, classy yet fast, futuristic yet now. phone code “02�, the fact that it is zero emitions hence the O2 of oxigen, and that it is a 2 seater, tandem vehicle. AUDI R02 - DESIGN SKETCHES
politecnico di milano Based on the final concept I sketched different views of the car to better understand its shape and lines. The air flows front to back creating drafts that help the vehicle aerodynamically. On the nose, the shape of the surfaces on the hood create downforce as a spoiler would. These design features gave us the ability to propose a very lightweight car that keeps a very dynamic and sportive soul. (September 2013, June 2014)

politecnico di milano The car purposely has 2 different sides to it as we explored on one how far we could go with the use of materials and shapes, creating a very sharp and conceptual form, and a smoother, more proportional one; both heavily based on different elements of aviation feeling. politecnico di milano We created a 3 dimensional model to get a more realistic and interactive vision of how the car would actually look finalised, as well as the rims I envisioned for it. AUDI R02 - INTERIOR
politecnico di milano Minimal interiors gave room for easy passenger access and helped keeping the vehicle in very a very light weight standard. The tandem position of the 2 seats is greatly inspired by fighter jets and the ergonomics of aviation, whilst providing a comfort found in luxury cars. The steering wheel is featured with a pulse meter that will automatically turn on the Quattro becomes faster. (September 2013, June 2014)
