THE AIESEC DIFFERENCE The key difference between AIESEC graduates and other graduates is their proactivity, business skills and leadership experience that they develop while running AIESEC and while on an AIESEC exchange. All of our members take part in a professional development cycle that aims to equip our people with Leadership Experience, Multi-Functional Skills, and diversity.

AIESEC - ADMINISTRATION FEE This is the fee charged by AIESEC to cover the administration costs incurred in finding a suitable profile, student preparation, communication, reception, maintenance of infrastructure, etc. and is payable to “AIESEC Kolkata”.

AIESEC PROPOSAL FOR UNIVERSITIES AIESEC in Kolkata desires to partner with you to cater to the academic needs of the students in the below mentioned courses to give a more pragmatic and real life approach in dealing with their respective streams. AIESEC is a Global ,non-Political and not for profit organisation which is directed to fulfil it sBIG HAIRY AUDACIOUS GOAL, where it plans to Engage and Develop Every Young Person in the World by 2015. AIESEC in Kolkata can commit to operate on the following courses and extend the below mentioned benefits to thestudents belonging to them:

International Affairs 

Send students for short term International Entrepreneurship Programmes(5 to 8 weeks) to work on a project along with people from more than 10 different countries at a highly subsidized rate. It will enlighten the students on international relations and give them a fairly good idea on international project management.

AIESEC has a portfolio called the International relations manager (IRM) through which it manages to consolidate its network of 113 countries and do international exchanges in them with several projects.Student taking part in international exchange can come back and directly get recruited in AIESEC and start working as International Relation managers.

All the experiences in AIESEC (experience as an Exchange participant for international exchange or manager at local chapter) will be certified by our board of Advisors and national/local partners.

Send students abroad to work as Business Development


Manager (BDM ) and raise projects and create opportunities during exchange while gaining a significant knowledge of the business structure of the hosting nation. 

Organise Global Village for the university in its campus.It involves a cultural demonstration by internationals from more than10 different countries.The international conduct workshops,sessions,put up performances,which speak about their countries.

Government and Public policy All the above programmes relevant to this course can be provided. Additionally,the returned exchange participants can be given a portfolio wherein they can workon the market research for corporate and social firms,in a welldirected manner where they will actually get an opportunity to deal with big corporate/social firms and houses and make projects and policies for the same,depending on the ongoing requirement of the markets. It can actually impart in the students,some great professional and managerial skills which has full potential of rendering a life changing work experience.


Leadership development and Executive Education  All the above programmes relevant to the course can be provided.  Additionally, AIESEC can organise LEAD sessions for the students from time to time, where we can have eminent and renowned leaders working on the field since a long time, giving structured sessions for the students on the lines of leadership. AIESEC has two unique programmes on leadership-Team Leader Programme(TLP)andGlobal Leaders’Programme(GLP). o TLP:AIESEC carries out its operations for different portfolios in teams.A person out of the team is given a role of a leader (depending on the qualifications).The intensity of the programme can range from being a President of an AIESEC Chapter in a city leading more than 200 people to just starting up as a Project head leading a team of 3-5 people. o GLP:AIESEC international exchange participants can play the same role (above mentioned) in another country.This time they will be doing the samet hing in some other city of other country leading a Global team of people from more than4-5 different countries.

International internships in the form of GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURS’ PROGRAMME. Role of International Relationsmanager in the Kolkata chapter of AIESEC.* Role of Business Development Manager in other country.**

Organise Global village in the college campus.

Role of Manager for market research on corporate and social firms.*

 


Organiselead sessions for the students as per the requirements of the college

Provide TLP(TeamLeader Programme) andGLP*(Global Leaders’Programme) to its students

*Programmecan only beoffered after an Exchange participant comes back from international exchangeas per the AIESEC policy. **Programme can only be offered to the exchange participants during their exchange period.

Important Pointers 

The university can appoint a campus ambassador to coordinate all the programmes and activities of AIESEC and for the regular updates on the progress.AIESEC can officially recommend a student/students for the same post which can later be approved by the administration.

All the programmes listed above can be provided for any course the university opts for and thinks is relevant for.AIESEC can customize new programmes based on university’s requirement.

AIESEC will provide certification and letter of recommendation from its board and partners to all the students engaging with AIESEC programmes.

All the programmes are absolutely free for the university. Students however need to pay a small administrative fee to AIESEC only for facilitating the international exchange programmes at a highly subsidized rate.

LEARN TODAY LEAD TOMORROW Ever since its establishment, AIESEC has envisioned to create positive social impact by creating and developing youth leaders. While hundreds of students access this opportunity every year by becoming an AIESECer, today, we believe that true impact can only be achieved by a multitude of dynamic young leaders. Therefore, we developed 'Learn Today Lead Tomorrow' as a program to develop global leaders by undertaking a variety of initiatives, 'Learn Today Lead Tomorrow' being one such initiative. In collaboration with some of our corporate partners, we have also developed a number of informative and interactive sessions on Leadership, Time Management and Innovation that cater to school students. Thus, in this regard the concept of 'Learn Today Lead Tomorrow' brings together the expertise of the corporate world, the vibrance of the youth and a vision to empower young individuals. Objectives L.E.A.D as an event has two key objectives: 1. To provide effective career guidance and equip students to make the right career choice especially with regard to management studies. 2. To provide students with a platform to voice their opinions on matters of international importance and develop their leadership potential

Sessions The proposed sessions shall comprise of the following: 

Session on leadership by AIESEC as developed by partners like AOL, Coke etc.The session will contain details about AIESEC and inform the attendees of the organization and it’s different activities. (20 mins)

Edzonex will jointly present Sessions. The session will train students about time management, pressure handling etc. (90 mins)
