Between January and April the number of over 45´s looking for their first job increased .This age group has always been badly affected by the economic crisis in Spain .The research has been done by Adecco Foundation . In 2007 there were 422,000 people over the age of 45 who were out of work and by 2014 that number had risen to almost 2 million . The 40,700 people who were hoping to find work for the first time in the first quarter of this year was three times more than in 2007 . The majority , 35,000 were female , mainly housewives who have been pushed into the need to increase the family income during this long economic crisis . If you are in the 45 or over bracket then it is always a problem to find another job but if it is your first job that you are seeking then it is almost impossible .It could take them at least 2 years to find employment and it is a very dispiriting experience .
