The 5 year old boy from Britain who is suffering from a serious brain tumour has at last been given the go-ahead and can be taken to Prague for a special form of radiotherapy . The family had taken their son from a hospital in the UK to Malaga where they have a holiday home .The hospital in the UK would not or could not provide the treatment that the parents wanted even though they were prepared to pay for it .When the child was removed from the hospital the staff there informed the police and an international hunt began . The little boy was never in danger from his parents , they just wanted the best for their little boy but they ended up in jail and being treated like criminals , in Malaga .They were sent to prison in Madrid . Now the child is able to have the Proton Beam Therapy that his parents always wanted him to have as it is a far less invasive treatment than normal radiotherapy . All of the paperwork to allow the boy and his parents to travel was completed and they left in a plane which was specially adapted for his medical condition . The little boy was cared for in the hospital in Malaga for 8 days .The Junta de Andalucia worked with the authorities to ensure that the boy was able to go to Prague as that was the priority all along .
