Early in 2014 the Spanish Road Association published a report claiming that the roads in Spain are in their worst state since 1985 and that they required an investment of 6.2 billion euros .There have been years of underinvestment and many roads are full of potholes which make it a danger to vehicles , cyclists and pedestrians The Association has denounced problems around the country where roads have become cracked by heat and then intense rain .Sections of roads have been washed away and not replaced , white lines have disappeared and traffic signs have been damaged . The report went on to describe some of the roads as being no better than in a war zone .Investment in infrastructure has fallen by 39% since 2009 .People are beginning to complain because there is risk of damage to their vehicles .Very often they have to weave their way between the holes and naturally this is dangerous as they could collide with oncoming traffic .On country roads an accident of this sort might not be dealt with for a very long time with dire consequences for drivers . When the next rains arrive the situation can only get worse as more roads are washed away . Check Out The Full Indepth Details Here: Spanish News | Roads A Disgrace Across Country
