masonry bar that turns into the pool at the bottom level
This athletic facility consists of a large masonry bar that serves as the service wing and the circulation path. It penetrates the ground, but turns to develop a solid mass in which the pool is carved out of below the ground floor. About additive and subtractive geometry, this building contains a solid mass with inserted staggered planes. The floors, which are thin elongated planes, are connected through the carved out circulation in the masonry bar and through brigdes that link the floor planes on the west facade.
