JASON DENHAM
Since 2006, Shubhankar Ray has been the Global Brand Director of G-Star RAW. With the philosophy ‘Just the product’, G-Star is a denim pioneer since 1989, focusing on denim craftsmanship and innovation. G-Star is fascinated by the unlimited possibilities of raw denim, and modern concepts like 3D denim. Ray works on denim brand concepts across the globe, and is mainly responsible for showcasing G-Star’s dedication to untreated RAW denim. Ray is one of the main international spokespersons of G-Star.
James Veenhoff was the driving force behind Amsterdam Fashion Week for years. Always multitasking he now runs a successful Brand Merketing and Strategy Consultancy, Fronteer Strategy. He is also initiator by House of Denim, and the world’s first ‘Jean School‘. With the House of Denim Veenhoff wants to establish a denim knowledge center. In James’ words: ‘‘Although we have positioned Amsterdam as a FASHION capital, business-wise we are in fact more of a DENIM capital’’.
David Koral is one of the co-founders of KORAL Los Angeles. KORAL LA is a new premium jeans breand that is established in 2012, but is already very successful. His father Peter Koral is also one of the co-founders of KORAL LA. along with Rick Crane. Peter Koral was the former owner of 7 for All Mankind. KORAL jeans was created to get back to the essence of what makes a great pair of jeans-quality material, refined finishing and flawless fit. A new Los Angeles-made denim label that adorns itselfs through simplicity and craftmanship.
Englishman Jason Denham established DENHAM in the city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Having already established his reputation in the European market as a consummate ‘‘jeanmaker’’ known for mixing denim modernism with workwear tradition, he resolved that the jeans catergory needed an injection of something fresh, new and undeniably mouth watering. Assembling a small like-minded team of international designers, Denham set-up operations in Amsterdam in 2008.
