introduction
Electroquest is a multiplayer game that is intended to mirror what is observed in the real world. Corporations make several decisions everyday relating to e-waste. They have a huge stake in our social and environmental conditions. How they choose to navigate the world is up to them. In Electroquest, players are put into the shoes of these large corporate entities. So, will you be the player that strives to curate ethical outcomes +r will you be a money-focused entity that makes decisions solely to increase their revenue As players navigate the board (and as corporations navigate the real world), they will be faced with decisions, dilemmas, and or surprise scenarios. It’s important that when facing these moments of change, that corporations take a precarious approach and be wary of the unintended consequences that they may be faced with when making decisions. Get ready to take on the e-waste challenge as a corporate entity!

how to’s How to Play Players will take turns navigating the board to work towards a common goal: become the “best” company. To begin, players will randomly draw a corporation name, company reputation, and current average annual revenue card:

After this selection, all players will start at the same starting point and will take turns to spin the wheel to advance. As they move throughout the board, they may be faced with decisions, dilemmas, or impacts. Once all players have crossed the “finish” line, players will reveal their impact tiles and calculate their social score and finances. Players will multiply their social percentage by their finances. The player with the highest score wins.

Player Pieces There are 6 total player pieces. Each piece is associated to a corporation name. Players should select their player based on which corporation they randomly pick.

How to Set up the Bank
Players are encouraged to utilize the game lid as the banking station to keep all cards organized.
The corporation name, current average annual revenue, company reputation cards, and impact cards are to be placed beside the shelf.

Spinner There is one spinner in this boardgame kit. Players will use this spinner to advance their piece when it is their turn.
Players may be required to move 1 to 4 spaces.

How to Navigate the Board Player will zig-zag through the board in the following path:
The game board is modular. Players may choose to set up the board differently each time they play to have a new experience each time they play. Making certain decisions earlier may alter their thought process later.

Decision Points At these points, players are given two options to choose from. Players must select either option then randomly draw a card relevant to their selected option. After drawing a card, players may look at their selected decision and earn/lose money or social points. If others still have a couple of spaces to advance, they may do so after selecting their card.
Decision points are marked by gold stars and labels. Players must stop at all decision points.

Impact Stations Players do not need to stop at impact stations. A player will only interact with the impact station if they land on it. If a player lands on the impact station, they must randomly draw an impact card. Players may view this card immediately after drawing it.
