ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH Learning Agreement Name: Amy Andrews Course: Fashion Level: 5 Unit: Live project Unit Code: FAC556 Credit points: 40 Study hours:400 hours Tutor(s): Iain, Karen, Anna, Carl Synopsis of study For this unit I will be working on the live project within uni with the brand Bolongaro Trevor. As a fashion communicator, I will be working with the rest of the communicators team to come up with a theme for our project, branding ideas, a photoshoot (archive looks and present collections), a fashion film for the brand, a retrospective book and also planning of the final show to present all of our work, as well as the garments that the making side of the project will be producing. As a group we will separate ourselves into smaller teams who will be working on various aspects of the project as a whole. I propose that by the end of this project I will have worked on coming up with branding ideas for Bolongaro Trevor; this will include swing tags and canvas/ carrier bags, as well as working on the layout and presentation of the retrospective book and produce illustrations to be featured inside of the book. Then, as an entire communicators group we will plan out the final show (where it will be, when, the structure of the event and plan the overall look of the event). As part of the Bolongaro Trevor project, I will be expected to use my initiative to come up with new and exciting ideas for the brand by myself, as well as collaborating ideas with other members of the team to come up with the best outcomes for the brand. Throughout the project we will all need to be in constant contact to ensure continuity with in every aspect of what we create for the brand. We will be working alongside Kait Bolongaro from Bolongaro Trevor who will be giving us talks on the brand, and giving her feedback along the way on what she thinks of our work and where she would like to see it develop. Whilst working on this project I will be keeping a blog to track my progress, this will help me to see how far I have come from the beginning of the unit and what I still need to work on until the criteria is met. I feel that a blog is a good visual representation of the work produced, it will allow me to see where my strengths and weaknesses lay with in the unit and will therefore enable me to work on developing my weaknesses to produce the best possible outcome for this project. At the end of this project, I propose that I will be submitting the following; a retrospective book on Bolongaro Trevor as a brand with my own illustrations included inside, a visual representation of branding ideas for the brand, a plan for the final show (as well as evidence of the final show), a written report on Bolongaro Trevor and a blog to show all of the work I have produced with in the unit.
