Harvard Park Day Nursery Feltham: August Newsletter 2018. News from the Managers, Nicki and Tracey and Deputy Manager, Carol – Firstly, welcome to all the new parents who have joined us over the last couple of months. Our newsletter is here to provide you with information from your child’s room as well as reminders from the Harvard Park Team. These can be accessed three ways: Facebook, EyLog and through your personal emails. We have a folder available which will hold a paper copy too. We would like to wish Nabila in Baby Studio and Charlotte a very happy birthday for this month.

We have recently sent our new contact information which needs to be filled in by all new and current parents. Please check your emails, fill this in and return it to us via email. This is very important as there are lots of changes in there which we need your consent for. If you did not receive this, please come and check your email is correct in the office.
Change of teacher training day:
This day hat been changed to Monday 29th October 2018. We will be closed on this day for teacher training. Please arrange alternative care as we will not be taking any children in for this day.
Pushchairs and Umbrella buggies:
If you have an umbrella buggy, please fold it and put it in the boxes provided. If you are using a larger buggy but have a small one at home, please can you use this instead. We would very much appreciate this. Larger buggies can be left up but need to put neatly to the side of the room. This is becoming a health and safety issue. IF it continues we will have to limit the number or buggies we can take in.
High Temperatures:
During the high temperatures, we will not be going out on walks around our local area. We will use the garden area and keep your children in the shade or air-conditioned areas. We will be having lots of water breaks and re-filling your child’s bottles once they are empty. Please bear this in mind when collecting a semi-filled water bottle at the end of the day.
When is you last day? (Children leaving for school)
Please let us know of your child’s last day even this is the end of August. We need to be clear on numbers for when we move into September. Please note if you receive funding this will stop on 31st August.
No Bikes:
Thank you to those of you who are co-operating by putting your scooters in the garden. If you are not doing this, please do so. We will be asking you to take these with you if you do not wish to keep them outside. Bikes and Trikes: Under NO circumstances can we accept these into the nursery. We will start to ask you to take them with you. If your child does not like their scooter, they have no other alternative but to walk. The lobby is for buggies only as of August. Please can we also suggest that for the safety of your child, please wear a helmet will on the scooters.
