News from Baby Studio –Sana, Mary, Gurpreet, and Nabila Marisa and Mandy:
We are keeping our theme the same for this month, Physical development. Through our activities, we will be adding Christmas in too. For example, dressing up in Christmas outfits to help them develop their independent skills and mark making to develop their fine motor ones. We are focuses on taking those first steps for our pre-walkers and enhancing our fine motor skills for our older ones. Activities such as puff pastry play, painting with sponges and stamps all help these skills. We will also start singing Christmas songs in our group times too! So please ask your key worker which songs we are singing so you can sing them at home too! Just a few reminders: Please make sure your child has sensible and appropriate footwear. We do go for walks and we do use the nursery’s outside area. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and supply them with a thick winter coat, gloves, hat and scarf all clearly labelled with their name. All of us in Baby Studio would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! Your mission this month is to: -bring in family photos for their family books and puppets. Also can you bring in your child’s baby photo along with their birth weight?
