Harvard Park Day NurseryFeltham: November Newsletter 2014. News from the Managers Nicki and Tracey –

On Friday 7th November, wear something pink and donate £1 to help raise money and awareness for breast cancer. We have fundraisers throughout the year and this is one that is close to our hearts. We will be holding a bring and buy cake sale so please feel free to donate cakes (please avoid nuts) and also to buy a few  Please collapse all buggies! It is a health and safety issues that we are continuously addressing. Health and Safety will tell us to stop allowing buggies into the building if this continues to happen. Now, for a little bit of sad news, Hannah in Freedom Zone is spreading her wings and leaving the Harvard Park nest. Her last week will be the week of the 17th.  Small request from all rooms, if you have any old birthday/Christmas/thank you cards that you’re going to throw in recycling, please could we have them as we can use them to develop our cutting skills. Also we are looking at developing our outside space, if you have any plant pots/seeds/logs/statues that you’re not using please may we have them. Our garden area is looking a little unloved and the practitioners have asked us to make this request on their behalf.

News from Deputy Carol- We love that our children are being physical when coming into

nursery but can we please discourage bikes as we do not have the space to hold them. We do not want to be put in the uncomfortable position of saying no to buggies, scooters and bikes by health and safety in the workplace. Thank you for your co-operation. From 10 th – 15th of this month we will be looking at and embracing National Nursery Rhyme week! The children will be engaging in lots of musical singing and dancing to build on their self esteem. So if they come home singing a nursery rhyme you haven’t heard before just give it a little listen and applause 
