News from Deputy Carol-We would like to wish Nicki a happy birthday for the 1st and Amy a happy birthday for the 11th. At this time of year it is very important that your dress your child appropriately. A lot of children are coming in with thick cardigans. They need to be wearing a thick coat. We do go out to play in all weathers so bare this in mind. Same with footwear, boots, trainers or sturdy shoes need to be worn. You can bring crocs or slippers to change into at nursery if this is what you wish. Thank You.
News from Baby Studio –Sana, Mary, Gurpreet, Sneha, Diluni, Nabila and Megan (who will also be covering in other rooms):
The theme for the month is … ‘Christmas!’. It’s the time of year to get really creative and that’s what our babies will be doing. We will be making a range of things from cards, snowflakes and snowmen, great for personal presents. We shall also be making a winter basket for the children to explore. In these we have sensory items to enhance their awareness of the world, everyday items to help develop their language and themed items to help their understanding of change (seasons). It would really help us and your children if you could provide an item to go into this basket along with a bath time item. A BIG thank you to Eeshar’s mum who has contributed to our bath time box.

We will also be singing and learning some new Christmassy songs and rhymes, making our very own Christmas decorations and accessories (perfect for gifts), developing our physical skills by wrapping presents in Santa’s grotto! We will be dressing up in festive costumes and exploring the world of mathematics when we go to the shops and look at how much Christmas items cost. Alongside this we will be writing to Santa which will develop our communication and writing skills as well as talk about Santa and his Magical reindeer!
