Teddy Bears picnic: Please bring in a teddy bear! We will be having a teddy with teddy related stories! Please label your teddy with your will we give you a sticker to label them.

Sports day: Calling all parents- we need some volunteers. We would like 5 parents for the morning session and 5 for the afternoon session-just to help out and help our children get the most out of sports day. Please ensure that all children are dressed in sportswear and sensible footwear i.e. trainers. There will be a list up on the parent’s board, please sign it if you wish to volunteer! Parent teacher Consultations: Please be aware that this is an inset for the school so we are closed for children. Preschool will be open for the consultations, please book an appointment with you keyworker to discuss your child’s progress and have a look at their learning journals. If you are a working parents, please see the deputy manager, Natalie. Photo day for all children: Our photographer will be here all day, if it is not your child’s day please see deputy manager Natalie, to book an appointment. Similarly, if you wish to have sibling portraits please book an appointment. Parents phonics session at 11:00am This is a chance for you to join us and see what phonics is really about. We have been and will continue to run phonics sessions which gives children a head start in letters. We follow a programme called Jolly phonics which helps children learn through songs. At later stages, it also helps them to begin to spell and read. We would like to invite you to come and join in. Learning journal handover meetings: You will need to book an appointment with you keyworker for this week. It is a chance for you to have a final meeting with your keyworker before your child heads off to school. It is also a chance for you to pick up their learning journals that our practitioners have worked so hard on during your child’s time at Harvard Park. Last Day for all children who are staying with us: If your child is coming back to us in September, this will be the last day that they attend pre-school. Your child will not miss out as they will be saying goodbye to their friends on this day and their leaver’s party will come next year. Please see Natalie to swap your session if your child is leaving and they do Thursday. Leaver’s party: 10:00am – 2:00pm This will be our last day for all of those who are heading off to school. We will be having a party which we will put a food list up for, if you could kindly contribute to this it would be great! Dress you child in party clothes or their favourite fancy dress outfits! Here’s what will be happening over the next few months: photograph. However if you do not want your child photographed or filmed, please let us know beforehand. If we get a lot of requests regarding children not being allowed to be filmed or photographed, we will have to say no to everyone. We need to mention, only 2 adults per child due to the lack of space. We are allowing video and photography for this reason.
