We are currently recruiting for a couple of positions, so if you know anyone looking for a job and has a qualification in childcare, pass on our email address and get them to send in their CV’s : info@harvardparkdaynursery.co.uk. Sport’s Week – 10th June and onwards The week of the 10th we will be having a range of activities going on in all rooms to promote healthy eating and postive well-being. The pracitioners will be planning lots of outings to the park and around our local area so please make sure all children have safe closed shoes such as trainers so they can participate. This also includes Baby Studio and Small Steps – please make sure you are providning footwear for them on a daily basis. Photo Payments for Freedom Zone and Small Steps: All payments for the recent photo’s taken by Karen are due in on the 7 th June – this does not include Baby Studio. A late fee will be added if you wish to purchase photos after this date. Health and Safety issue – Summer Clothing As the weather is getting warmer, we have been advised by outside agencies to inform you of our expectations for summer clothing in order to protect your children from sun damage. We will ask you to provide other form of clothing if your child comes in, in any of these and we may even ask you to return home and change. Please make sure you are providing a jumper or cardigan for you children as well as a sun hat and a bottle of sun cream. The shoulders are the most delicate part of the body’s skin on all children and will burn when exposed to the sun for too long. Sun-cream forms a barrier but does not fully protect them from the damage sun can do. Please be aware of our expectations when dressing your children in the mornings. This applies to Baby Studio and Small Steps as well. Requests – No buggies in Freedom Zone We have noticed that quite a few of our 3 year olds have been coming in buggies recently. We are going to be asking you to take these home with you as we cannot house them alongside those for the younger children. It has an impact of your child’s physical development so get them walking or on scooters to get to nursery. Freedom Zone Leavers: Pre-order you DVD and Year book This year we will be selling pre-recordings of your child’s leavers concert for a price of £5 and year books for £2. These will be pre-order only and there will be no spares on the day. Please add your name to the list if you wish to purchase either of these. There is an example copy of our year book by the signing in board.
