From here they will have a week or so to finish off their paper learning journals, which we will have to keep for a little while longer. We will then transfer all the data from their trackers onto their EY profiles, at which point you will be linked into them and should receive an email asking you to set a password. This should hopefully be at the END of October, if not the 2 nd week of November. Please be patient with us while we learn about these profiles ourselves. Unfortunately due to time and the amount of children we have in our setting, its most likely you won’t get daily updates of your child’s day more so 1-2 weekly updates. Daily feedback will be given to you each day by the practitioners in the room. Monday 31st October will be our Halloween and Diwali Party Day. All are welcome to dress up in fun spooky outfits, avoiding masks, or pretty party dresses for Diwali.

We will continue with our daily messy activities giving all our children the chance to explore new textures with their hands, feet and other parts of their bodies. Can we please ask that you provide a few extra pairs of clothing for us to change your child should they get really messy whilst learning? We will be doing lots of tummy time with our non-mobile babies and walking practice with those who are ready and raring to go. A few reminders: - Singing in and out: Your child’s name is now already on the signing in sheet. Please write the time you drop off and pick up as and when you enter or leave the building. Wrap the highchair in Clingfilm or put newspaper under their chair to prevent further mess. Give them a spoon and you have a spoon to model the good eating .
