Now in its fourteenth year, UkeFest has become a Strathmore summer staple offering classes, jam sessions, and performance opportunities for ukulele players at all skill levels. For five days in August, the sounds of ukuleles ring throughout our campus as new and old friends gather together to make music. Even though we made the most of being apart with two virtual festivals, we can’t wait to welcome musicians back to our campus to learn and play together.

Our illustrious faculty, led by Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer, are all back and in person to help players learn (or perfect) their skills. While this program welcomes adults of all skill-levels, Strathmore’s UkeFest is the only program of its kind that offers an advanced track for those looking for intense skill development. Whether you’ve just picked up a ukulele or have been playing for years, our first in-person UkeFest in three years promises to be a joyful week of learning, jamming, and celebrating being together again.
