MY NAME IS

2

2010

Personal poster with my name on one side, and with data visualization of places, people and sounds of my interest on the other. The front side is a map of underground lines tracing out the name. Lines in different colours illustrate some areas of my interest. The stops highlight exact representatives of the fields and the pictograms specify them. On the back side the lines fade out, and what remain are the stops with additional information about the data from the front side. →

KEPES/MALINA EXHIBITION

4

2010

Poster, booklet and invitation card for The Pleasure of Light exhibition of György Kepes and Frank J. Malina. In the beginning of the 20th centur y faith in progress and scientific discovery had primary influence on artists and scientists including Kepes and Malina. As a result of this belief, a conviction that a scientific spirit forms part of a new artistic synthesis emerged. The vision of both ar tists is best characterized by a distinct combination of aspiration and creativity expressed through experimentation and radical innovation. Both of them experimented with light. While Kepes was mainly dealing with a static medium, that is photography and photograms, Malina pegged away at movement through his kinetic paintings. As the subtitle of the exhibition is ‘At the intersection of art, science and technology’ I aimed to reflect on all of these areas by finding the contact or contrast between static and moving with the application of optical illusion. →

THREE MINUTES

8

2010

Typographical experimentation with three short stories of the hungarian representative of absurd, István Örkény. It functions as a poster and as a sort of booklet as well. The font choice, the text arrangement, and the usage of transparent paper with the reversed print on its back side reflect on the absurdity of content. →

CONTACT

14

2010

The point of the concept is a novel visual approach to the concept of ‘contact‘. It is not only the personality of three basically different people which can contact and have something in common, but their physical appearance. The medium here is the human finger, which is generally used as a sort of personal identifier as well. The visual outcome is a number of frackles or common points which appear when the fingers of three different people are projected and start to interact. This commmon fingerprint makes up a ver y complex system. With the abstraction of the points we get a sort of ‘per fect‘ digital fingerprint that symbolizes the physical contact, the unit of three of us. Beside these it functions as the visualisation of the data that interest all of us. →

GRAFF

16

2011

Graff is a fictive graphic design festival. It aims to skywrite graphic design by exhibiting prominent representatives of the era. The identity I craeted reflects on the dinamically changing attitude of graphic design and the fact that it is ever ywhere. The usage of different bitmaps in the logo reflects on the first sort of attitude, and the usage and availability of stickers (removable sticker on the cover of the magazine) highlight the second. The identity contains a magazine, poster, pass, map, flyer, invitation card, bag and stickers. →

PERSONAL BOOKLET

26

2011

A personal booklet about memories from childhood and the the people who most determined it. On the one hand I used details of old photographs that are blurr y, and for this hardly recognizable, on the other hand a much more concrete way to represent the complexity of the relationship between us, an abstracted dna spiral that is built up through the booklet. →

The idea to preser ve experiences besides taking pictures during travels, that are mostly lost or never looked through again, has come into my mind from time to time. For this, I preraped an organized booklet with the photographs I took during the journey, with a timeline and things I did, and data that are special and important for me. →
