PROJECT S.A.Y. Grupo Folklorico
Students from 6th to 12th grade can be a part of a team honoring traditional Mexican Heritage through dance. In the program, Teens learn the footwork, skirt work, partner work, and the choreography pertaining to traditional Mexican dance while learning how to work together. All experience levels are welcome as classes are tailored to our participants. Whether a student is learning for the frst time or has years of experience, this group welcomes everyone! Once teens register and attend practice frequently, they are provided the dance shoes, wardrobe, and accessories for the performances they attend. This is a wonderful program where teens can learn not just the skills and culture of this traditional dance but learn different leadership skills to prepare them onstage and be successful Folkloristas!
Performances and excursions are scheduled throughout the year.
