What makes our vanities Eco-Friendly?”
Solid Rubberwood Construction Rubberwood is one of the more durable lumbers used in the manfacturing of today’s home furnishings. It is strong, flexible, resistant to fungus, bacteria and mold. Unlike other woods that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, rubberwood is used only after it has been exhausted of it’s sap. Rubberwood is harvested for their latex and generally completes it’s latex producing cyle between 26-30 years. In the past, the trees would be cut and burned on the spot. Today, the wood is being used for furniture, flooring, constuction and toys.
