About me
I am a designer and fabricator based in Atlanta, GA. Designing is addictive, and there are never-ending possibilities of what I can design. I like working with both traditional design processes like drawings, but I especially adore working with technology. Collaborating on a project is a real treat, so if you have a project in mind, I would love to hear from you. I have spent the last 5+ years developing an effective cross-disciplinary strategy in design and fabrication. My MFA in 2D and 3D design and Bachelor of Interior Architecture laid the foundation for becoming a multi-dimensional creative leader. When I am not working alongside clients, I spend a lot of time in my art studio hanging out with my cat and getting ready for my next art exhibition. Some of the most notable exhibition venues I have exhibited include Atlanta Contemporary, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Aqua Art Miami, and Kyoto International Community House in Japan.

My first Earrings
The history of jewelry is fascinating and surprising, from the simplest ancient seashell jewelry to our modern-era custom CAD jewelry. Jewelry has been a part of us since we are born. In this project, I commemorate the first pair of earrings given to me by modeling it in CAD. By having a computer file of the earrings, I conserve my first pair of earrings’ shapes and designs. Jewelry is one of the objects that are very common to pass down from generation to generation. Having a model online of the earrings, the jewelry pass down won’t ever stop even if family members lose them or even pass down to multiple people in the family.

Bezel ring
The bezel ring is one of the first stone settings I learned. I fell in love with bezel settings because of its practicality. Bezel settings are suitable for working hands like mine because they won’t snag with clothes and can be used every day. And most importantly, it is built to last and requires low maintenance, and protects the stone from damage.

Calder inspired Brooch
Calder’s inpired brooch is a computer file that can be laser-cut on a piece of metal plate. Calders original Bonze broch was made with a long wire flatened and curved by hand would have taken hours. Unlike the brooch I designed could be manufacture in a matter of minutes. Calders piece inspired me because of its connection to the golden ratio. A golden ratio is a mathematical number known to us since the ancient greeks. This number is used in mathematics, geometry, art, architecture, and more. It is widely known to create visually pleasing or organic-looking shapes.

Ladder earrings
Ladder earrings are an example of how precise a lser machine could be. Each ladder opening is 0.165” by .05” making this perforations on a metal plate could take a long time and be nearly imposible to make it look even. But with the help of CAD and a laser cutter this earings could be cut in minutes. Now thats precition. The ladder is a symbol I use in my fine artwork. Symbolically a ladder could mean a tool to reach specific financial, social, and status goals. A ladder could also mean ‘time’ or even a structure like DNA that keeps things together. Ladder earrings are a symbol of change and wanting to reach goals set by the wearer.

Amerika
Amerika is a wall composed of individual concrete blocks or masonry units. But these blocks are not made of concrete; instead, they are made of PLA filament. I made this transparent wall inspired by Kafka’s book “Amerika.” The story features Carl Rossman, a young German boy that arrives for the first time in America. Before exiting the boat, Carl realizes he left his umbrella back in his room. He quickly heads back to his room but then realizes he doesn’t remember how to get there. Throughout the story, anytime Carl is situated in a corridor alone. He is lost and having to rely on other people to show him the way. I believe immigrants live in this perpetual state of disorientation.
