TESTIMONIALS iCU in Amsterdam was a good opportunity to meet friends, old and new. The venue was great and the content varied and interesting.

TOM HOMER Head of EMEA Telstra

6 Interesting panel discussions, plenty of ad-hoc and scheduled meetings — a very productive two days spent in Amsterdam.

MIKE HOLLANDS Director, Market Development & Strategy Interxion

I attend iCU because it’s important for our relationship with global carriers and cloud providers. It’s a great place to meet with major suppliers as well as all of my peers. iCU Amsterdam brought together great speakers to talk about the latest trends that are changing our industry and it plugs an important gap in the market by having a really useful event in the telecommunications annual calendar in Amsterdam.

I had the pleasure of listening to inspiring speakers and meet a number of true industry disruptors at the iCU Conference in Amsterdam — had great and very valuable discussions. Very refreshing!

ISABELLE PARADIS President Hot Telecom

TIM PASSINGHAM Vice President, Wholesale Colt Technology Services

A great growing event for us with the right people attending. Interesting presentations by senior management from the Industry at a great location. See you again next year.

ONNO BOS Sales Director AMS-IX

iCU Amsterdam was broadly stimulating because of the vertical engagement between all the actors in each layer that the event facilitated. At first I didn’t exactly see the connection between all the presentations, but the discussions about the latest trends such as Cybersecurity, Crypto Currency, Media delivery, AI, Bigdata, IoT (wonderfully termed ‘Intelligence of Things’ by one of the speakers) suddenly came into focus for me in the middle of day one. These topics are the key drivers that are going to shape the demand for submarine cables, power, hosting facilities, Internet Exchanges and so on between many of the key actors who build the carrier networks and the consumer demand for this growth.

DOM ROBINSON Co-Founder, Director & Creative Firestarter id3as

The event (for me) was a great gathering of senior industry professionals representing technology, the security and compliance framework, discussing new business models in an industry that is constantly redefining itself. What is the future: Network Core or Edge Computing? Asset rich networks or will it all become all software based and ‘thin assets’? It is yet undecided, but for sure it will be disruptive

CONSTANTIJN JANSEN Client Delivery Director BT Global Services

Thanks to the excellent cooperation and communication with the iCU team, some great panel discussions and good speakers it was a very successful event. I recommend this event to all people who are working in the Telecom related business to catch up with the latest trends and news in the industry. I hope iCU ’18 will bring a similar experience or even better.

EDWIN DE BOER Account Manager Leaseweb Network B.V.

iCU is an event with the unique ability to really connect industry peers with each other. The current market leaves space for an event with C-level and management decision makers in combination with high quality networking opportunities. ICU jumps into this gap and caters for a specific set of businesses. It is clear for us that ICU is one of the important events we want to contribute to and attend year by year.

TESTIMONIALS I really enjoyed attending and talking in last iCU Amsterdam event. It certainly was one of the broadest events I’ve ever been in terms of scope and audience, but turned out to be one most interesting and gratifying to attend, thanks to the diverse views shared about some common topics.

I had the luck to be talking on the 1st panel of the event, about the “edges of computing”. It was wonderful to hear how some questions raised on my panel about the transition of computing from clouds to fog, where later echoed, and covered from experts in the Media, CDN or DataCenter industry. Actually, I really loved when in one of the last panels of the 2nd day, Hans Timmerman, CTO at Dell, also talked about the “fog”, main theme on my panel, but introduced the “mist” as a different way of expanding these edges.

DIEGO ALCOCEBA Global Account Director Company Collinson Group

The recent iCU event in Amsterdam proved to be excellent in terms of the organisation, content and both the number and seniority of the attendees. As one of the ‘FLAP’s Amsterdam has been lacking a significant event serving the data centre sector. The iCU event this week filled this gap extremely well and in doing so also served a much more broader community by combing the data centre, fibre backbone and carrier sectors by providing content and insight that spanned all three service delivery platforms without diluting the overall quality of programme. In successfully doing this the event stood out from the other events held elsewhere aiming at the same market. Well done iCU.

MARK ACTON Critical Services Director CBRE

Linxdatacenter congratulates Jing Ertl-Yang, her excellent team and Hilton Amsterdam for a very successful iCU 2017 Event. It was the second year that iCU decided to organize the event and we appreciate the focus on the Datacenter and Cloud industry as well as building bridges between China and the western world. The consistent high quality of the panels, the sponsors and the participants made us as Linxdatacenter decide to prolong our Gold-Sponsorship and we would be pleased to meet you all in 2018 in Amsterdam again.

iCU Amsterdam 2017 was an event with a pleasant business ambiance. The mix is quite good: not the overwhelming scale that other events may offer, but with a good representation of many companies to enable efficient networking!

ERIC SOER Global Account Manager Data Servicesany Liberty Global

HEIKO H. KOOP CEO Linxdatacenter

I found the iCU event in Amsterdam very productive and time well spent, the content was good, the attendees were of a senior level and the event was excellently organised. Whereas some events tend to focus on volume of attendees and random content the iCU event gets the balance perfect. I will continue to attend the events and support them where possible.

JON WALDRON Sales Account Director Digital Realty

iCU Amsterdam was an exciting event for me. What I really appreciated was that the iCU team have built an event that is focussed on bringing together different members of our very complex communications eco-system, with topics and sessions that are compelling and informative for all. It’s particularly great to see that the content is very informative, about real issues and opportunities that we are dealing with today. I also liked the fact that there were some very interesting and informed leaders of our industry who had open and frank discussion sessions where the basis was about sharing and learning together. Overall, very informative! MARK DALEY Director, Corporate Strategy and Products Epsilon Telecommunications
