WORK: Interior Design & 3D Visualizations LOCATION: Tripoli, Greece

The following project presents a newly renovated attic apartment, in a three – storey building, which is to house a family of four. The apartment consists of an open plan living – room and kitchen, that is connected by a smaller hallway which leads to two bedrooms, of which the master bedroom has a private bathroom, and one shared toilet.
The main focus of this project was to design a simple, yet elegant living – room, which would reflect the family’s personal aesthetic. Moreover, it had to be considered that the family wanted to have a dining – room in the same space, which made that to be a challenge as the area was not as big as it would be expected. Nevertheless, with the appropriate research and measurements it was feasible for the furniture to fit in the space.
The family had already chosen the flooring of their apartment, as well as the colourings for their kitchen design, so their only request was to select furnishing and tones that would match with the rest of the flat.
Their favourite colour palette consisted of whites and greys, but they were concerned that it would make the space look a bit blunt. So, it was suggested to add a small touch of green shading in some parts of the area, as well as wood materials, in order to balance out the neutral palette.

Located in the heart of Athens, this small apartment has a great potential to benefit anyone that would choose to live in it. However, on the very first visit it could be noticed that the apartment was in great need of refurbishment as its existing function did not represent a pleasant environment.
The main focus of this project was to demolish the wall that was dividing the living – room area from the kitchen and turn that into an open plan, but design a dining counter as a separator between the two rooms. In that way, we would also succeed into bring the natural light to an area where it wasn’t accessible before and create a more welcoming environment.
Additionally, the biggest concern of the owner was that the existing bathroom had a vintage style, was very dark and not functional at all. They needed something simple, but contemporary that would give a more refreshing look. The idea was to use a neutral palette in order to make, that lightless space, more appealing and brighter. +
A similar approach was followed for the kitchen design, as the owner wanted to go with a safest colouring option, which was to use white and light grey shades. White glossy for the cupboards, and back walls, and light grey for the counter surfaces. That would be a continuation of the white marble tiles that wanted to be placed in the living, kitchen and hallway area of the apartment.
Moreover, as the flat was in need of storage, it was decided to design an “L” shaped cabinet, which part of it would be used as clothing area, and another one to store the washing and dryer machines. The cabinet would be placed in the hallway, at the area which connects the bedroom and bathroom. Last but not least, it was requested for the bedroom to restore its wooden floor and change the wardrobes’ doors to stylish ones.

The following is a personal project I created in order to improve my rendering skills. At that time, while looking for some inspiration, I came across an article that shared some colour trends for kitchen cabinets.
That inspired me to create a kitchen design where I would be using a neutral palette, but would try to go bold on some parts of the kitchen, i.e. different shade on cabinet surfaces.
After completing the kitchen design I was satisfied with the results, which led me to think how that shade of blueish would look on large objects.
The development of the bedroom and living – room design had a similar approach to the kitchen. In those spaces, the neutral colour palette was used but the main character, with the blue tone, would steal the spotlight inside the room.

RESIDENTIAL DESIGN
WORK: Apartment renovation & Product design LOCATION: Athens, Greece
CLIENT: Private YEAR: 2022
For this project it was requested to present a more functional and pleasant design for the entrance – hallway space of the apartment. When you entered the residence you could notice that the living and kitchen area were separated by walls and closed doors.
As the entrance – hallway was narrow and had no natural light it was giving a feeling of suffocation. The idea was to demolish any unnecessary parts of the interior and connect all three areas by turning it into an open plan.
Moreover, an important factor that had to be considered was that the owner wanted to have a dining area, which made it to be a challenge since the flat was very small. For that reason the best option was to design a dining counter around the demolished part. This design was taking up less space, than an actual table, it was contemporary and very convenient.
