Beautiful Days: An Orthodox Coloring Book for Children
HILOKALIA
A word often heard in the Orthodox Christian Faith. It’s a Greek term that means “love of the beautiful.” The Orthodox Christian experience is infused with beauty. God calls to us through the presence of beautiful things—from a picnic at a park with our family members on a beautiful day, to receiving communion, lined up one after the other with our church loved ones. Beautiful Days was created for children aged 5-12 to help them cultivate a sense of beauty while seeing how the everyday and the liturgical moments we experience can all be sacred.
We pray that young hearts and minds will be inspired while working through this book, and that it will be an aid toward furthering Christ’s Kingdom here on earth. Christ is in our midst!
