“To endure is to have a clear goal and the ability to extrapolate to it with the mind the ability to keep in mind what is not before the eye

ABOUT ME I am a 21 year old entrepreneur who likes to develop new ways of learning and Glocal projects. It is amazing that we have the opportunity to develop projects with different people, and along side my teamentrepeneurs. Discovering new ways of doing things while traveling is something that really enriches my mind for new ideas. During these 4 years I have developed various projects related to innovation and team empowerment. That is why I have noticed that the power of an organization relies on the people.

EXPERIENCE

Want Coop is a cooperative founded by 14 young entrepreneurs in the “Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation (LEINN) Mondragon University (Northern Spain) degree in 2012. Want has given us the opportunity, working in teams, to develop several projects, some of which have been successful whereas others have resulted in failure. Our aim has always been to learn while specializing in three different areas: Innovation processes, Entrepreneurial teams dinamization and strategic business development.

Euskal Herria Esnea is a dairy company based in Biscay whose aim is to produce top quality milk, gathered from local farmers. Working for Euskal Herria Esnea has given us the possibility to analyze their competitors and segment their customer base. The latter has made it possible for us to interview end consumers and get to know their preferences when choosing a certain brand of milk.

Impact Hub Donostia S. Coop was f o u n d e d b y a g ro u p o f s o c i a l entrepreneurs who united with the aim of creating a home for ideas and projects, but also to serve and connect with communities working towards social transformation.

AILU EDUCATION GROUP

Innovation process and user experience improvement

Ailu is a Kidergarten chain in china that has more than 36 establishments with 2000 employees and more than 17000 kids all together. In AILU, we analyzed their value curve to compare with the competences value curve and the satisfaction of their clients in order to design together with the directors of each of the kindergartens the next aspects that allowed to offer a better service than the competence. •

Better ways to communicate among parents and teachers.

•

A curriculum more oriented to an international kindergarten.

•

Better service in order to help parents to choose the schools for the future.

In this innovation process took part 20 directors and the manager of the group. It should be pointed out the importance to involve all the agents, as this company was involved in a structural change, pivoting their model from a piramidal structure, to a more horizontal structure, based on creating a knowledge creator company where each of the directors was getting more autonomy.

SORTZEN AKT

Entrepreneurial and innovation tools training

Due to the financial recession, the number of people without job increased from 2% to 13,1% in Gipuzkoa, reaching historical levels. At the same time, considering that the amount of people with universities degree reached to historical levels, (18% of the population in the Basque Country had a University degree) we gave a four month active training focused on entrepreneurship for unemployed people. In this project to introduce citizens to entrepreneurship, we offered a practical knowledge based on a %100 active course, taking as a base the creation of working teams and real projects. The final goal was that the participants, once they finished the course, were able to have a profile with the next competence:

68% of the participants passed from an unemployed situation to obtaining a job.

1. Autonomy: To obtain the knowledge to be able to develop independently their own projects or actions to obtain funding. 2. Bravery: To be able to identify business opportunities. 3. Team Vision: To learn working in teams and to create synergies with other entrepreneurs.

25% of the participants are now working on their own projects.

JMA 100

Event organization

As a result of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Jose Maria Arizmendiarreta, founder and ideologist of the Mondragon Corporation, which is one of the biggest industrial corporations in Spain comprising over 250 cooperative companies, we organized the celebration event with the esteemed assistance of Mondragon Corporation. In this event held in Shanghai, we put into relationship Basque cooperativists destined in Shanghai with local people with different backgrounds chosen at random. This encounter made it possible for us to assess that Arizmendiarreta’s doctrine can be applied to everyday life just as well as to business.

TAK

Market research

Thanks to a 1 month stay in San Francisco, we carried out a research on interactive e-learning, working for the Spanish based company TAK. The results obtained were the next ones: •

Advanced e-learning technology systems.

Latest insights to apply e-learning inside companies. •

PROIEKTUEN AZOKA KIDEA

EUSKAL HERRIA ESNEA

This event was lead by Impact HUB Donostia in collaboration with (the) Foundation Donostia San Sebastian 2016. The event is based on collective development, learning from others, and transforming projects’ business model, turning the individual thinking into an idea-sharing atmosphere. 9 projects were presented, and thanks to a collaborative process we empowered them and improve their pitching.

We first identified the basic needs they might had, and helped them to sort them out designing a brand strategy. Working for Euskal Herria Esnea has given us the possibility to analyze their competitors and segment their customer base. The latter has made it possible for us to interview end consumers and get to know their preferences when choosing a certain brand of milk.

Open innovation and event organization

Brand and marketing strategy

Thus, we interviewed more than 125 people having different backgrounds, designing a marketing action plan and establishing future company-inner actions. We worked with them for 3 months.

CONCEPT Branding represents a relationship between the customer and our company. It’s all about commitment to continual reinvention and imagination, so that the relationship we want to maintain with the customer endures as long as possible. Sure a lot of companies do great products, and are very good at producing, but in a world dominated by brands, the difference is not in the product you deliver, but in the way it is delivered. Thanks to the Brand Envelope we do not only analyze the market and ourselves, but we can go more in deep in which are the feelings, thoughts, problems and social concerns that our customer may have. This tool, enables us to create a company-brand-strategy focused on 4 different dimensions, thus obtaining more details about our different customer segments.

Competition: In what areas are we better than others?

Brand’s main benefits focusing specially on style and quality

Social dimension

Core Message

How does brand help the indivdual to identify him-/herself to brand’s reference group?

Style: 3 adjectives that describe our brand

Mission: What is your company’s role in society and how does it help the society to develop?

Functional dimension

Product/Benefits: Which is your greatest benefit to your customers?

Mental dimension Brand’s mental support to customer

Spiritual dimension How does the brand reflect values and ideology it represents?

Values: Which are the core values of our brand?

DESIGN THINKING Nowadays companies are constantly changing and evolving, as customers are demanding new services and products. Design Thinking gives us the chance to think as a designer, thus, empathizing and thinking in which are the needs and challenges that customers may be having. The Design Thinking presents us a new way of thinking, going from a deep analysis of the challenge and market, passing through a collective-ideation process and testing our new idea in the market.

CORPORATE RELIGION Products and services are important, but the company’s brand strategy will determine its future. Customers are not driven by the product itself, but by the values that a certain company transmits. Every great brand stands for something, something which people believe in, and which matters to them. We see compulsory to have a trustworthy environment inside the company to create a product that suits the customer.
