PIZZA PIZZA WITH ØLAND WHEAT CRUST HOMEMADE TOMATO SAUCE


PIZZA WITH Ă˜LAND WHEAT CRUST YOU NEED: Crust 550 g cold water 5 g yeast 100 g stone ground wholemeal øland flour 900 g plain flour 20 g salt 1 tbsp. grapeseed oil

WHAT TO DO: Dissolve the yeast in the cold water. Mix in the two kinds of flour and knead for 4 minutes at slow speed. Add the salt and knead for an additional minute. Transfer the dough to the table and rub with a little oil. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes then divide into 8 equally sized pieces. Tighten each piece of dough by pulling the sides down and under it. Place all 8 pieces on a baking tray and cover the entire tray with clingfilm. Proof for 2-3 hours on the kitchen table then transfer to the fridge for another 12 to 36 hours. Make sure to remove from the fridge 1-2 hours before making pizza.


TOMATOSAUCE (For 4 persons) You need: 250 g canned tomatoes 1 tbsp. Tomato purĂŠ 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. Sukker One handfull basil 40 g rapeseed oil How to: Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend for 30 seconds at maxium speed. Put the sauce in a bowl and leave it in the cooler until use.
