In the recent events where Knights of Columbus Insurance participated in Oregon are: Roseburg Council 2939: Roseburg Council 2939 collaborated with the youth group at St. Joseph High School to be able to coordinate a Father's Day breakfast just for charity, according to the representative of Knights of Columbus. The event raised more than $1,000 to send members of the youth group to a summer conference in Spokane, Wash. Columbia Council 3302: Columbia Council 3302 in St. Helens and Archbishop Dwyer Assembly in Hillsboro co-sponsored a Memorial Day Mass at St. Wenceslaus Church. The Mass was followed by a ceremony at the church's cemetery with a 21-gun salute. Knights of Columbus served lunch to all those in attendance and collected $100 in goodwill offerings for the Oregon Veterans Home.
St. Pius X Council 12656: St. Pius X Council 12656 in Portland launched a project known as "Books for Tanzania" to get school in addition to reference books for the Diocese of Moshi in the African nation. Knights of Columbus Insurance collected several shipping containers full of books that will be distributed to Mwenge University, 2 seminaries, 2 nursing schools, 31 high schools, 11 grade schools and various libraries.
