Biochemistry student fulfills childhood medical school dream By Kara Rice

Fourteen years of pursuing the medical field have paid off for Anderson University student Sara Glendinning after her rececent acceptance into the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg brought the dream of becoming a doctor closer to reality. Glendinning, a 21-year-old senior from Conway, South Carolina, is pursuing a degree in biochemistry. She said one Saturday of volunteer service at a nursing home as a child is what set her on the path to a career in medicine.
