Right before evacuating our home due to hurricane flooding, we paused to take a family photo in front of the “It is Well” tea towel. Just days before, I had mounted this precious reminder to a canvas and found the perfect place to hang it. This TRUTH became our family’s motto during an unexpected storm and unpredictable season. No matter the circumstances, we chose every day to say, “It is well,” and the beautiful reminder hung on the wall even as everything else was being removed from the home. Being able to glance at the reminder was such a comfort to my mind when my emotions wanted to lead me in another direction.
