SELECTED WORKS 2017-2019
JOTUN REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS AND R&D LABS DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (2019) Relocation of Jotun’s regional headquarters and R&D labs to new facilities in the Dubai Science Park. DSP is the region’s first free zone community that supports and facilitate a more sustainable and self-sufficient future, by focusing on Green and CleanTech companies. In the project, as Design Coordinator, I support the design team, track the quality of the work being performed by each trade and ensure that client’s needs are met in a timely and cost-effective way. My mission and passion are to create a solid bridge between the project manager and the design leads and between the design leads themselves. Enhance communication and interconnection, to improve collaboration and operate efficiently.
BP CENTRAL CONTROL ROOM AND NEW OFFICES ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands (2018) This project was born to bring together the monitoring and control of three process components in a new central control room at the British Refinery. In addition to the three existing process components, CDU, FCCU and Oil Movement, the new control room offers space for a possible factory expansion. The central control room and all related functions are extremely important for the processes that take place at the BP refinery. Employee safety, functioning as a single team, continuity of business processes and quality of materials and spaces have been guiding principles for the creation of the design.
RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS Dubai, UAE (2018) During my work experiencein Dubai I had the opportunity to work on concept designs and space planning for a variety of residential projects. My involvement was also extended to 3D modelling, coordination, interior deisgn and client presentations.
DON MILANI SECONDARY SCHOOL FLORENCE, Italy (2017)
MARIA GAETANA AGNESI SECONDARY SCHOOL LECCO, Italy (2016) The design criteria adopted have as objective the creation of a high efficient asset, with low enviromental impact, easy operational management and use of free natural resources. The concept design was driven by the requirement to create an outdoor space for educational activities to bring the kids and teenagers back to the original connection between nature and human beings.
LE PAGLIERE IN PORTA ROMANA FLORENCE, Italy (2014) The Royal Stable was built during Florence being the Capital City. The building is now unused and decaying. The project aims to give it back a function so that to give a chance for a rebirth, by converting it to a multimedia center for research and information on the evolution of the urban and periurban areas of the city of Florence.
