The 950 foot pedestrian bridge span and exposed structural system is made possible due to the natural characteristics of structural steel. Such as:

Entrance to pavilion is possible from both levels. Through the ramp floor an aperture occurs were people are anchored in. Through the suspended floor people will engage the ancillary function trough both sides. This strategically placed circulation makes the museum an experience from multiple points of entry. Furthermore, the central circulation satisfies code compliance for emergency egress (As is in current structure)
