Actual situation: the city with a ring-like organisation, which leads to the presence of a strong boundary.

Proposed solution: by emphasising the axes connecting important open spaces and public functions.
Intervention: transition area C, located along one main axis connecting the city center and the residential area.

Info point and resting area are mixed and provided due to the necessity of people to have an enjoyble place where to gather and to post and get informed.
Active area on a lower level. The present bollards are combining two functions: protection and resting.
Bike ranks provided due to the need of people arriving in this place, to leave their bikes when they enter into the city center. Area dedicated to events, in particular to the yearly local festival of pepper. During the year, it can be used differently according to the needs.
Multifunctional area designed for multiple categories of users.
