_COMPETITIONS
“Green Boulevard” International competition: Honourable Mention Goal of the project is to encourage the use of electric vehicles for moving on the axis road connecting Salerno to Rome in order to create a zero impact mobility system. The proposal is the development of a system that use electric vehicles powered by electric energy obtained by their own use. The axis RO-SA will also be equipped with a multiplicity of services that will be used to make more comfortable and secure its crossing. A system of ELECTRIC CAR-SHARING will “assist” the traveler through traffic information, weather conditions and hazards on the route. The excess energy to the circuit will be sold to the national energy electric manager making profits for the company highways and private companies that invest in the project. They will also be exploited government incentives for the purchase of electric cars in order to lower the cost of the project.
_COMPETITIONS
The system called “Energy in Movement� get energy by two units of production through the principle of piezoelectricity: 1. artificial hedges 2. smart plates. The first device, made from recycled plastic stems, generate energy through the movement of air caused by the passage of vehicles in circulation or wind. Used as a divider, they become noise barriers close to residential areas. The acoustic shielding exploit the principle of absorption resonance cavity (Helmholtz resonance) and are made of recycled wood. The second device works through the passage of the vehicle on the plate which will absorb the kinetic energy transforming it into electrical energy. To reduce the environmental impact of electric vehicles in transit, the asphalt will be treated with a special paint that absorbs smog fine particulate matter released from motor vehicles.

Five-year Thesis “Recovery and reuse of Public Beach, Reggio Calabria� Its central location and the current condition of almost total abandon, make it a complex of very interesting buildings. The aim was to mend the relationship between the building and the city center, both physically and visually. Intervention offers the re-functionalization of the central building (Rotonda Nervi) with the elevation of one level, which differs structurally from the existing; the creation of pedestrian and vehicle connections, parking, walkways connecting to the waterfront; the re-development of the coastal strip with an integrated system of green spaces and pedestrian routes.

Bachelor Thesis “Hybridization in Fiera di Messina” Theme: design without places of a parking lot built on several levels with attached Music recording studio. The module starting point for the composition of the volume type is a 48 m side square. It is an exercise of design in which the basic condition is nothing, it is aimed at achieving a awareness project that goes beyond the context, through compositional gestures are not anchored to a possible around. The “hybridization” operation is the final point of the composition experience developed during the Laboratory of Architectural Design 3. The end of the thesis’s experience, which takes place in a contextualization of the project (Hybridization) within a formed contest with its morphological and material characteristics.

Villard8 International Itinerant Workshop Redevelopment of “Rione Libertà” in Benevento, characterized by an important urban void. The proposal was to develop a project that would claim to bind two urban areas morphologically different: the Old Town district with the “Rione Libertà”. The project takes shape by the presence of the river Sabato, crossing the city and divides the history from new urban settlements in the immediate suburbs. There is a cultural park that grows mainly on empty urban green but that crosses the river with habitable crossings.
