GOLFING IN THE WINTER LOOK TO THE WARMER STATES Every summer, golfers look forward to the clear skies and warm weather to golf. When winter rolls in, sometimes snow and rain will put a major damper on the sport. However, there are some destinations across the country that are perfect for golfing when winter comes. These are the best places to golf in the winter:
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA MID TO HIGH 60'S IN WINTER
Arizona is never short of warm weather, even during the wintertime. The state is also home to beautiful golf courses and desert designs. In Scottsdale, throughout the months of December, January, and February, the temperature usually ranges from the mid to high sixties. Many of their resorts are family-friendly. Some of the popular courses include Raptor Course and Talon Course at Grayhawk Golf Club as well as North Course and South Course at Boulders Resort & Spa.
SAN DIEGO, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA GLAMOUR AND CHILL VIBES
California has a reputation for always being sunny. San Diego and Orange County can be found in the southern part of the state. Sand Diego has a much more laid back vibe than the glamour of Orange County, but both have temperatures in the high sixties during winter months and have incredible golf courses. In San Diego, the best is Maderas Golf Club and South at Torrey Pines Municipal Golf Course. In Orange County, many golfers enjoy The Ocean South at Pelican Hill Golf Club.

In the sunshine state, Naples offers gorgeous weather during the winter and some of the best gold destinations. During the winter, many golfers flock to Florida to enjoy some of the greatest courses in the country. While most of the best courses are often found in gated communities, there are still in Naples only require a stay at a resort for access. Some courses to consider are Black Course at Tiburon Golf Club, Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, and Naples Grande Golf Club.
