Mission Work

South Bend, Indiana The project takes place next to Leeper Park that once thrived as South Bend’s first park and is in the process of being restored and to the south stands Memorial Hospital. Right now the project site sits as a parking lot full of cars but it struggles to connect people to the park. It can become the link that ties downtown South Bend and Leeper Park. The site will include gardens as they are “a mosaic of water and stone, foliage, and sky, experienced as… tranquility.” Places of relaxation and meditation are vital to all personnel including patients of Memorial Hospital. Residence should have the opportunity to experience architecture that is mysterious in nature but calming for the sole purpose of reflection.

St. Joseph, Michigan The art district of St. Joe looked for opportunities to develop artist studios with shipping containers. The containers are stacked to provide housing and studio spaces along with outdoor porches and balconies. This community would help artist in the area to grow and prosper in their career.

Vaierty of Mediums Drawings and painting are forms of expressing and visualizing what we see and what we imagine. Hand drawing is the best thing we can do that will never fade.
