CHILD HEALTHCARE DESIGN

DESCRIPTION - Goal: Re-design the inpatient wing of the hospital for children 2-10 years of age as a welcoming and healing oriented space

Designed to be an escape from the usual stuffy, dull, and stale hospital environments, the Denver Children's hospital offers a fun, colorful, and imaginative space for both kids and adults by bringing the rainforest to life. The colors of the space are drawn from the fauna and flora of the tropical rainforests to capture their vibrant nature and fill the space with life. The open floor plan allows both visitors and staff to easily navigate and move about the space while they experience the vibrant colors and forms of the rainforest.
