CONTEXT: THE OVERALL MASTER PL
THE CONCEPT FOR THE REGION WAS TO LINK AND DEVELOP FORMER QUARRY SITES WHICH SIT IN CONSERVATION LANDS. IN DEVELOPING T TECTED BUT BARREN LAND, THE HOPE WAS THAT FERTILE BUT UNPROTECTED LAND TO THE SOUTH WOULD BE SPARED. THE TOWN SQUARE SERVES AS THE CENTRAL NODE FOR ONE SUCH QUARRY SITE. EACH SITE WOULD HAVE ITS OWN SIMILAR NODE. QUARRY SITES ARE LINKED
