Hello, my name is Andrew Griffiths... You might have heard of me, perhaps read one of my books or seen me presenting at a conference. Or you might be wondering, “Who the heck is this Andrew Griffiths fella?” Either way, it is kind of hard to say exactly who I am and what I do in a few words, but let me try.

I WRITE BOOKS Sure, I am an author, in fact I have 12 books, which are sold in over 60 countries around the world, on all topics relating to small business and entrepreneurialship. My books are simple, easy to read, offering practical, street smart advice for business owners. With titles like “101 Ways to Market Your Business” and “The Big Book of Small Business”, it is pretty clear that whilst I don’t come up with really clever book titles, I have written books that are relevant to business owners and entrepreneurs around the planet. And I am kind of proud of this.

I LOVE GETTING UP IN FRONT OF A CROWD Over the past 15 years I have had the privilege of presenting for hundreds of organisations, at conferences retreats and special events throughout Australia and in the USA, Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, India, Japan, Singapore and Fiji. Generally I speak about what it takes to be successful in business in the modern world. This can cover everything from business trends to marketing, to customer service and pretty much everything in between. I also love to present on topics like overcoming adversity, thinking big and inspiring others. For me being a world-class presenter means being able to talk with authenticity and authority and deliver with passion. Talk to anyone who has seen me present and I guarantee that the word they will use to describe my presentation is “passionate”.

SOME PEOPLE CAN’T ATTEND EVENTS, SO I ALSO DO LIVE WEBINARS I love using technology to share my messages with people. Webinars are becoming increasingly popular as a powerful tool for sharing knowledge. I run my own webinars, often partnering with other key people to present on a range of topics. I am often commissioned to develop, manage and deliver webinars for my corporate clients and because of my loyal followers, I have access to a very large small business and entrepreneurial network that I can market webinars to (as long as the topic is consistent with my brand and what my audience wants of course).

I DESIGN AND DELIVER ENTREPRENEURIAL STRATEGIES FOR COMPANIES I often work with large corporations to develop programs that will help them to better engage with entrepreneurs and small business owners. These programs usually begin with the development of a business strategy, which is based on the specific needs of the organisation. From here, the implementation can include some or all of the services mentioned in this brochure, including developing and writing articles for online use, developing and presenting webinars, presenting at conferences, advising via video link, sourcing and developing case studies (as written articles and video content), conducting panels, training staff, assisting in the development of promotional material, and so much more. It really comes down to the circumstances of the business and the desired end result, I customize my services around each business’ unique needs. I have worked in this capacity with corporations such as CBS, Hewlitt Packard, Telstra, Officeworks, Jetset Travel and Optus, to mention just a few.

MY NEW ONE DAY WORKSHOP As a result of my work in helping corporations to better understand small business, I have developed a one day workshop called - “Small Business are from Mars, Corporations are from Venus”. This is a very specific workshop, designed to help larger organisations find more small business customers, keep them for longer, encourage them to spend more and get them to refer you. This is the ideal workshop for sales teams, managers, call centre staff - and really entire organisations. I can also deliver the big picture ideas behind this workshop in a one hour keynote presentation.

MEDIA HAS BEEN A BIG PART OF MY BUSINESS TOO Over the past 15 years I have been featured regularly in the media, including on television shows such as Sunrise and Good Morning New Zealand, and in all major newspapers including the Australian Financial Review, The Australian, The AGE, The Sydney Morning Herald and the Sunday Mail. Having a good face for radio, I have also been regularly interviewed on leading radio shows, including ABC National, 2GB, 2UE, 3AW, Today, Sea FM, Hot FM and Triple M. I have been featured on and contributed regularly to many leading business websites including Flying Solo and Smart Company. I have been a regular contributor to entrepreneurial magazines including Think and Grow Rich, Wealth Creator and Success Business Magazine. I’ve also been featured in a pile of other magazines including BOSS, QANTAS inflight mag, Jetstar inflight mag and MindFood. Through my media contributions my reach has expanded considerably in recent years, leading me to work with companies like CBS as an entrepreneurial authority.

Recently I was recognized for my entrepreneurial achievements when I became the only Australian columnist for INC.com with over 18 million visitors per month this is one of the largest business sites and entrepreneurial networks in the world.

SOMETIMES ONE ON ONE COACHING IS NEEDED As a presenter, author and media commentator I get to meet many entrepreneurs around the world each year. Sharing ideas, swapping knowledge and inspiring other business owners are the part of my business that I absolutely love. I am often contacted by entrepreneurs who are seeking one-on-one advice and mentoring I have delivered a huge range of fully customized coaching programs which have assisted entrepreneurs to reach a specific business goal or milestone. Most recently, I have had a lot of requests to help people write and publish their own book and to understand the business of being a professional presenter.

WHO KNEW THERE WAS A GLOBAL MARKET TO HELP PEOPLE WRITE BOOKS? I certainly didn’t. A few years back I was approached by Daniel Priestly, founder of the pre-eminent “Key Person of Influence” (KPI) entrepreneurial program. Daniel was running this program in England and he wanted to expand it globally. I was invited on board as a mentor, specifically to teach program participants about writing and publishing a book. I’ve since been appointed as Global Director of Publishing for KPI, teaching the program in Australia and Singapore, and offering support for other published mentors around the world.

I HAVE BUILT A PRETTY EXTENSIVE ARTICLE BANK If you are looking for small business and entrepreneurial articles for websites, company newsletters, blog posts or other forums, I can certainly write specific articles, but I also have an extensive article bank consisting of some 2,000 articles that I have already authored. These cover a wide range of small business topics and provide a quick and cost effective way to populate a website that is designed to attract small business owners.

AND WE ALL HAVE TO STAND FOR SOMETHING RIGHT? I grew up as an orphan and like many children, this lead to a less than perfect start to life. This is one of the reasons I accepted an invitation to become an Ambassador for the Abused Child Trust (ACT for Kids). I’m also a passionate animal lover, and a person who abhors cruelty in any shape or form, and that’s why I am a big supporter of the RSPCA. Last but not least, I started donating blood when I was a teenager, and I have been donating ever since. Nothing is as personal as making a donation that could save lives.
