About Us
The 11th Force Support Squadron (commonly known as MWR) team supports more than 120,000 members of the military, family members and retirees in the National Capital Region. The 11 FSS also provides a full spectrum of quality of life programs and activities. Great values can be found in dining and recreation at the Community Commons, The Courses and The Club at Andrews. The squadron manages these facilities and touches the lives of Team Andrews through overseeing the operations of lodging, two fitness centers, three childcare centers, a youth center, a dining facility for enlisted personnel, a flight kitchen, an outdoor recreation office, parks, a base lake, a secure RV storage lot, family campgrounds, a swimming pool, equipment rental, a ticket and tours office, and a library complete with a commputer support center. Successful execution of this diverse mission would not be possible without the dedicated efforts of the men and women of the 11 FSS. Whether it be providing the finest mission support possible or enhancing individual and family lifestyles on JBA, the FSS team is committed to its mission.

WHAT IS COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP? Commercial sponsorship is a monetary and/or in-kind fee paid to an event. In return, sponsors receive access to exclusive commercial potential, such as public recognition or advertising promotions associated with the property, event and so forth. Location: West Fitness Center and Community Commons Estimated Attendance: 350+ each The themed fun runs including the Glow Run, Stroller Run, and “Cold� Turkey Trot add a fun twist to the health and fitness programs. Participants are encourage to wear creative attire in the various themed runs for prizes. After the runs, participants enjoy a social gathering at the Community Commons for food, drinks, entertainment, prizes and more! Location: Community Commons holiday Programs Estimated Attendance: 750+ each
The highly popular annual events are free family friendly events. Bunnies and Eggs is an Easter egg hunts for different age groups. Top prizes are given to children who find the infamous Golden Egg. Food and entertainment is available through the event. Neewollah is a Halloween alternative event which includes a trunk-or-treat, carnival games, costume contest and a Haunted House. The Breakfast with Santa includes arts and crafts, pancakes, and picture taking opportunities with the jolly Santa himself. The events also draw in nearly 50-100 volunteers including single military members and organizations around the base.

Estimated Attendance: 750+ each Social events like St. Paddy’s Day Festival and Oktoberfest are alternate duty locations to promote comradery for our military members and civilian workforce. They will enjoy live music, food, drinks and games, along with a Kid Zone for a family friendly atmostphere.
pool parties Location: Base Pool
Estimated Attendance: 350+ each No one knows how to throw a party like the pool! The annual Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day pool parties provide a central on base location to celebrate commemorative events. Along with the pool and splash park admission, customers enjoy free food, DJ entertainment, competitive games, boat race, super hero guest appearance and prizes.
