MILITARY YOUTH OF THE YEAR SCHOLARSHIP Military Youth of the Year Scholarship is now available online at NYOY.org. Deadline is 26 March; event date is 24 April in Hagerstown. MYOY teens ages 14-18 compete in the state, regional and national levels for the Youth of the Year titles. Winners can win at the state level $5,000 college scholarship; regional $10,000 renewable for up to four years totaling $40,000; national receives a $25,000 scholarship that is renewable for up to four years, totaling $100,000.

BASEBALL & SMART START REGISTRATION Registration begins 19 February -06 April. The program is open to dependents of military, Department of Defense Civilians, and base contractors. Program includes SMART Start for ages 3-4, Tee Ball for ages 5-6, Machine Pitch for ages 7-8, and Youth Pitch for ages 9-12. A copy of the participants physical and immunization record to include a mandatory flu shot must be presented at the time of registration.
