This presentation offers techniques on how to plan ahead for the holidays, receive tips on self-care for holiday stress, and how to avoid holiday blues. EXCEPTIONAL FAMILY MEMBER-FAMILY SUPPORT (EFMP/FS) The Air Force’s Exceptional Family Member Program is designed to provide support to military family members with special needs. Services include a variety of personnel, medical, and family support functions. The Exceptional Family Member Program-Family Support (EFMP-FS) is the community support function provided by the Military & Family Support Center that includes, but is not limited to, on- and offbase information and referral, parent training, support groups, relocation assistance, financial management, and school information. MILITARY FAMILY LIFE COUNSELORS (MFLC) Military families face unique challenges. They may struggle with issues such as deployment-related stress, reintegration and pressures of managing parenting and finances while a loved one is deployed.
