Joint Base Andrews Provider of the Year - 2015 Montana Roberts was selected as the 2015 Joint Base Andrews Provider of the Year. She has been a licensed Provider for three years. Montana has a great love for children. She is the wife of SSgt. Curtis Roberts and has two sons, Mason and Caleb. Working with children is not a job to her, but a passion, and it shows every day through her interaction with the children enrolled in her Program. The Family Child Care Provider of the Year Award goes to an individual who has gone above and beyond to provide outstanding child care to Andrews’s families. The FCC program offers families child care in a small group setting. The care is offered in the homes of certified, trained professional child care providers. Montana contributes many child care hours with her regular day care children, but also applies an extensive amount of child care hours on weekends through the various expanded child care programs. “I feel proud to know that I’m appreciated for what I do and get recognized for it,” said Roberts. “We work by ourselves all day and people don’t understand how hard we work. It’s awesome for someone to tell you you’re doing a good job.” Parents choosing a Family Child Care home can leave for work each day, secure in the knowledge that their children are receiving tender loving care from the safe home environment we offer.
