The US Air Force has guidelines in regards to commercial sponsorship and advertising. Compliance with the Air Force Instruction (AFI) is mandatory.
Commercial sponsorship refers to the act of a civilian enterprise providing support to help finance or provide enhancements for MWR elements of Services actvities, events, and programs in exchange for promotional consideration and access to the Air Force market for a limited period of time. Support may take the form of goods, cash or services. (AFI34-08) Monetary support for sponsorship is made by check and payable to the installation MWR Fund. Payment for advertising may be by cash, check or credit card.
Advertising sales will be coordinated with appropriate AAFES and servicing contracting office personnel to ensure that existing AAFES or Appropriated Fund (APF) business agreements are not compromised.
All advertising MUST include the following approved disclaimer, “Paid Ad. No Federal endorsement of advertiser(s) intended.”
Donations (financial and in-kind) to Joint Base Andrews are always welcome and appreciated. The Andrews leadership team will ensure that your contribution is used in programs that need assistance to continue catering to those who serve.

When you join forces with the 316th Force Support Squadron, by way of sponsorship and advertising, you’ll be on your way to reaching this vast and diverse group of over 17,000 consumers, plus 12,000 retirees in the area. Your advertising and sponsorship will support the military community at Joint Base Andrews by helping fund the morale, welfare, and recreational activities that ease the unique challenges that come with the military lifestyle. Monetary support will be used to offset registration fees for events, as well as purchase prizes and other services needed for hosting the event.

The annual base-wide Easter Egg Hunt is a hit year after year and has grown to be one of the biggest youth events at Joint Base Andrews! During this event, children have the opportunity to find as many eggs as they can and enjoy the great treats and prizes inside.
This event is JBA’s largest event of the year and focuses on the key pillars of physical and mental resiliency! Event participation is open to all active duty military, military families, and DoD civilians.
This annual base-wide event is a an alternate duty location to promote camaraderie for our military members and civilian workforce. Customers get to enjoy live music, food, beverages, games, and more!
This is a series of themed runs at our Fitness Centers that include the Family Fun Run, Airman Crazy Sock Run, and our annual Turkey Trot. Participants are encouraged to wear creative attire in the various themed runs for a chance to win fun prizes!
This annual base-wide family/youth event has everything from Trunk-orTreat to Hayrides! Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.
Another annual base-wide event that gives families an opportunity to connect and enjoy a delicious buffet-style breakfast. The kids will enjoy a train ride and other outdoor activities. They will also have the opportunity to purchase gifts from our vendor market.
Free advertising opportunities are available as an added benefit for commercial sponsors of multiple events. Commercial sponsorship aggrement packages are available and customized to fit your business or organzation’s needs.

The Spotlight Magazine is a monthly publication designed and produced by the Joint Base Andrews FSS Marketing team that reaches an average of 5,000 people. A digital copy of the Spotlight Magazine is available 24/7 on our website (www.andrewsfss.com).
Advertise your business on eight (8) digital monitors with limited rotations (for maximum visibility) located in high-traffic areas within our FSS facilities. Onscreen advertising is an easy and affordable way to promote your event or business in a multitude of locations.
Are you looking to hang a banner in a high-traffic facility? We’d love to share your business with our customers! Advertiser-supplied banners may be displayed at our eight (8) authorized locations around Joint Base Andrews.
Printed posters may be displayed in 22”x28” poster frames located at FSS facilities around Joint Base Andrews.
Advertising is available on the Joint Base Andrews FSS website (www.andrewsfss.com). Our website is a great way to reach a large audience, with an average of 6,800 hits per month!
Advertisement (with the exception of the Spotlight) will not run past the event date. Order 6 months in advance and receive 10% off!
