Health Center CATA Masterplan Juliaca, Peru
The College Adventist Tupac Amaru is located in the city of Juliaca, Peru that is a gradually growing city of unique styles. Coming from a Spanish Colonial architecture, the city Juliaca is striving to become a city reborn into contemporary style. Growing in similarity with Chicago, the school of Tupac Amaru has four sites located throughout the City and in neighboring towns near Juliaca. The group project focused its designed for the site in the small neighboring city Cacachi. In Cacachi, a health center is designed to help locals gain access to a new clinic including amenities of dental, dry eye, mental, and physical health. The focus for the design is to face the buildings towards the river. It is important to the clients that the community sees this site and it be an example to live a healthy lifestyle and overall health.

Connected Life Mixed Use Development South Bend, Indiana
The Four Winds Baseball Field is a growing commercial area in South bend that is looking for an improvement in urban design. This project focused on bringing elements of connection through pedestrian life. The Project incorporated apartments ranging from studio for low income to luxury three bedroom to work/live unit for those that are looking to start a new business. Boutiques surround the inner courtyard with a full gym and health clinic, Grocery, REI, and a large underground parking to meet the needs of all who visit and live on the site. The site was not only meant to be a place of escape on your lunch break or a space that you might walk through after a cubs game but to be a space for people to come for everyday purposes.

Community Outreach Mixed Use Development Niles, MI
The project was focused on giving back to the community in the areas most needed. The program included a restaurant on ground level along with offices that serviced the upper level uses. The second level had a number of office and private rooms for group or personal counseling sessions to help those in need from domestic abuse, young mothers, drug addiction, and food drive. The third level held a large gym with equipment and personal classes as well as full size locker rooms with saunas for both male and female. The fourth floor is for low income families in need of pregnant mothers who are in need a place to stay for a temporary amount of time.

The Project is single home rentals for those who wish to move into the growing art district of Benton Harbor. The client was looking for an industrial style and through the use of shipping containers and wood as the main construction type was the focus for giving the desired style.

Model Making Residential Home Wood Construction
One of the many useful classes in the Architecture program is construction. You learn the terminology and materials that allow you to understand how a residential and commercial buildings are constructed.
European Tour Sketching and watercolor Europe
European Sketching Tour is a two month class over the summer before going into 4th year studio. You learn skills to sketch and watercolor on site. Mastering line weights, shadows, and mixing watercolors. Photographs include places visited while on European Tour and other tours.
