South Africa Industrial & architectural photography
Architecture
is the most visible and public of the arts. It impinges on our lives at every level of
habitation, from our homes, workspaces, entertainment and retail spaces, places of learning, worship etc. even the spaces between the built structures are shaped by the buildings that flank them. Moving from one environment to another, our experience of public space, pavements, courtyards, squares or piazzas, colonnades, passages, boulevards, is a function of the buildings that form that exterior space.

Photographer Andries Joubert (Cape Town, Born in 1972) Project: 45 images As a photographer I motivate my self to capture work with an artistic point of view. There for during a shoot I can choose the focal point of my subject. With all the images that I capture I am left with various kinds of images to work with. The goal is to capture urban, city landscapes, industrial history in the city borders of South Africa. I work hand in hand with Property developers, Engineer firms, Construction Company’s and Architecture firms who commission me to document work during construction and capture complete projects.
