6 Things You MusT Do in Dubai Think of Dubai and one thinks of it as a fashionable destination, pulling in people who love to live the luxurious life. Be it with excellent hotels, fine beaches, clear blue skies, and of course the infinite shopping experiences. With my personal experience I have prepared a list of things you ought to do in Dubai. So, here goes, in no particular order.
1. Dubai Mall: Dubai is home to some of the most biggest and splendid creations. One of the major tourist’s attractions is the Dubai Mall. It is the largest mall in the world catering to all your needs from clothes to electronics, it certainly covers it all. Every evening there
are beautiful fountain shows held whilst you see the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifa) beaming down at you. 2. Burj Khalifa: You miss Burj Khalifa and you lose the essence of a Dubai visit. It is the tallest building in the world that is supported by 110,000 tonnes of concrete foundation, 50 m deep. It has beaten all records and is the pride of the Emirates. Truly, a delight for the tourists. 3. Ski Dubai: It sounds ironic, doesn’t it? But, yes, nothing is impossible in Dubai. When the temperatures are soaring up, you can always go skiing while tackling the 400m downhill run within the Mall of the Emirates.
4. Desert Safari: They say no one knows deserts the way Dubai does. Indeed! If you are a daredevil, you simply cannot miss the Dubai desert adventure. So, hire a 4x4 and leave your trail behind. You can either take up a morning safari or stay for the night. You will
have belly dancers entertaining you, succulent foods to relish, henna painting, hookah smoking, and a lot more. 5. Jumeirah Beach: We all have a romantic soul, some show it some don’t. Beaches are the ideal place to be amorous or simply unwind. The Jumeirah beach has the most pristine waters and sand. You can visit it just before sunset and you are sure to be left in complete awe. 6. Souk: Dubai is called the city of gold. There are a plethora of options to choose from when you visit the souks, but you have to haggle for it. You have spices, gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, etc all under one roof. Even if you don’t wish to buy, make sure you at least pay a visit once. And, yes, don’t worry; the government keeps tight control over the quality of all the merchandise, your purchases will be genuine.
