Drakes Place is a small green space within the city of Plymouth. It houses a reservoir where water used to be treated which ran down from Dartmoor through Drake's Leat, constructed in 1581. The Gardens are currently undergoing a £1.4 million renovation, and the design challenge was to create a piece of design educating audiences on the history of the reservoir and gardens and informing them about the development work undertaken, to return them to their former glory.
