THE ONLINE ADVANTAGE
BE VISIBLE VIRTUALLY, OR BE VIRTUALLY INVISIBLE.

It's really that simple. The first step in many homebuyers' searches is the good old home computer - not just the MLS, but Google, YouTube, Craigslist, Kijiji, and a myriad of other online touchpoints. If your home isn't on the Internet, you are missing out on a massive audience of potential buyers. And how you appear in an online search is even more important. For example, if you advertise your home on Craiglist without photos, you will get little to no response. Period. In these days of Google Earth and live streaming, people expect to get visuals right up front. Once intrigued by a still photo, a link to a comprehensive video walkthrough can quite literally compel a buyer to pick up the phone and arrange to view your home in person. Then, if your realtor has done their job, a well-staged home should do the rest of the heavy lifting. From web pages to blogs to photo spreads to virtual neighbourhood tours... the more you can offer a potential purchaser in the form of high-impact, easy-to-access virtual information, the better. With over 5.6 billion Google searches happening on a daily basis, being "findable" represents a true strategic advantage. Think keywords, photos and video ... and give your home its best chance of being noticed in the digital marketplace.
